On Sunday 30th July Seven Dorset cyclists enjoyed an afternoon circular ride via Child Okeford to Stour Provost, visiting ‘Hilltop’ at Woodville – open under the National Gardens Scheme – and a well-needed mug of tea and homemade cakes. The threatened rain did not deter us or materialise.
- if you want to join a ride,
- if you want to be notified of planned rides, or better still,
- if you have time to organise and lead so we can offer regular times each month.
Our next planned ride is a ‘Full Bloomer’ all day event visiting our beautiful ancient churches where we are welcomed with drinks (often more) but bring a picnic lunch and a donation for DHCT please. Click for more information.
Simply FABULOUS rides come in different lengths and speeds and are run under umbrella of Dorset Cyclists Network to encourage more folk to cycle more often:
‘Buds‘ are a slow pace 5-8miles
‘Blossom‘ open at 12-20miles over a couple of hours
‘Full Bloom‘ and you are ready for 20-30miles
and all come with tea or coffee stop.
I am your DCN area Coordinator and a professional cycling instructor.
