From The Exchange, Sturminster Newton

As the Coronavirus situation evolves the safety and wellbeing of our volunteers, our staff and our community is our highest priority.  Following the latest advice from HM Government, we regret that planned and ticketed events in the Stour Hall will be cancelled as from today.  How long this situation lasts will depend on recommendations from the relevant authorities; we will be monitoring the ongoing situation and following their guidance.

In the first instance we will be contacting those who have booked tickets for screenings and events in the next four weeks.  Activity beyond this period remains subject to the emerging situation. Please look out for further announcements.  Wherever possible events will be re-scheduled for future dates.

As a registered charity, with no on-going grants, income from ticket sales is vital to The Exchange.  If your booking is cancelled and you are in a position to do so, we ask you to accept a voucher for future use or donating the value of your ticket to The Exchange, rather than a refund.  If you can do this, your kindness will help support us through these difficult times.

Many community activities have already been cancelled by their organisers.  However, the doors of The Exchange will remain open at least until 21st March as we continue to review the situation.

The Trustees

Ed: We have removed all events at The Exchange from our calendar. We will continue to support this wonderful and very special venue so close to Okeford Fitzpaine and wish it the very best for the future.
