Sue Le Riche

I have lived in Okeford Fitzpaine since 2008. Prior to moving to the village, I worked in the off shore banking sector for Cater Allen, Standard Bank of South Africa and latterly for Barclays Wealth where I was a Private Client Executive, administering off shore Companies and Trusts. I was also involved in the executorship of estates. For over 20 years I was a Scout Leader, training new leaders in safeguarding and health and safety.

In 2002 I became a Local Preacher on the Jersey Methodist circuit and in 2014 I became a Licenced Lay Minister in the Anglican Church, working across the Okeford Benefice. Since 2010 I have been the Ex Officio Governor of the village primary school and also assist in the running of the First Friday lunches and the Mud Pie Café.
My range of experience and knowledge would prove extremely valuable in the role of Parish Councillor. I am passionate about working with people to get things done. I am a good listener and am committed to the principles of social justice, equality of opportunity and community cohesion.
I do not believe in change for the sake of change, but do believe in change if it enhances the life of the village community. I would love to have the opportunity to work with the residents of Okeford Fitzpaine to make this village a place where everyone feels valued, has a voice and feels able to contribute to village life.
